Job vacancy: Part-time Bookkeeper

Balloon Letting Co. is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to join our friendly and expanding team.

Job Title: Part-time Bookkeeper

Salary: £15 per hour

Hours: Entirely flexible, based on your circumstances! Initially, we think this role will entail working approximately 10 hours per week.

Location: Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol (with the scope to work from home)

As a Bookkeeper, your job will be to oversee payments to client accounts, run monthly payroll, raise invoices and keep on top of credit control.

We expect the right candidate to be someone who mirrors our ethical approach to business in their day-to-day interactions and be a real brand advocate for the business.

To be successful in this job you’ll need to demonstrate the following experience, values and behaviours:

  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper in a stand-alone role (experience in a fast-growing, start-up business would be beneficial!)
  • Great IT skills, experienced in using Xero and internal CRM systems
  • The ability to multi-task, working within a busy, customer-focussed environment where you think outside the box to get the job done
  • A real team player, who wants to be part of the successful growth of a start-up business and isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in!
  • Ambitious and self-motivated
