Whether you’re letting an apartment in central Bristol, a room in a house share or a student property, we have expertise across each area and that along with our core focus of offering the finest level of service, has meant we’re growing rapidly.
There are some agents out there who will go above and beyond for their landlords, but we recognise that there are two important parties in successfully letting a property, a landlord and a tenant. We’ve been tenants ourselves and to put it mildly it’s easy to feel disposable in a Bristol lettings market that is extremely buoyant.
We have proven that when all parties are respected and valued, it creates a very strong foundation for the start of a tenancy and the start of what could be a relationship that spans years and years between tenants and landlords.
It’s this positive way of thinking and of treating people that we think sets us apart from the rest. Landlords, this means you can expect tenants who are excited about moving into their new home and tenants, this means you can expect support and respect from us whether it be through the referencing process or as your property managers.
Our hope is that one day tenants will be relieved to see their dream property marketed with The Balloon Letting Co and that landlords will see a vast improvement in tenant relations that all starts with a foundation of respect.
Importantly we’re accredited by PropertyMark who are the industry regulatory body, meaning we choose to be regulated in an unregulated industry. We’re also members of the Property Ombudsman and are ICO compliant.

Ben has enjoyed a decorated career in the Bristol Lettings industry over the past decade, winning a number of awards for customer service. Having identified a need and a gap in the market, he founded The Balloon Letting Company with aspirations of being a positive force within the industry and ushering in a better way of operating to the benefit of both landlords and tenants.

James spent his teens and early twenties living in Northern France and has enjoyed a career in customer facing roles with the likes of Brittany Ferries. He speaks fluent French and having spent time renovating his house in France, has come back to the UK to join the Balloon Letting Co revolution. He conducts viewings for us and loves interacting with applicants and negotiating between tenants and landlords.
